Privacy Policy
This is a draft privacy policy describing the current, prototype state of this website. It has not been reviewed by counsel and must not be treated as a final, compliant policy.
What This Site Currently Does
Forms on this site (contact and quote request) validate and briefly process submitted information on the server to check it for correctness and to apply anti-spam checks. As currently built, submissions are not saved to a database, sent to a real email inbox, or shared with any third party. See VERIFICATION_REQUIRED.md for what remains to be connected.
Local Storage
The draft home-improvement contract tool (/legal/hic-template) saves the fields you type into your browser's local storage so your draft persists between visits on the same device. This data stays in your browser and is not transmitted anywhere. You can clear it at any time using the Reset Draft button.
Rate Limiting & Anti-Spam
Form submissions are checked against a temporary, in-memory rate limit and a honeypot/timing-based bot check. These checks use the request's IP address only for the duration needed to apply the limit and are not retained afterward in this prototype.
Analytics & Cookies
This site does not currently include third-party analytics, advertising trackers, or marketing cookies. If any are added in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly.
